Mobile Engineer

Role overview Build and improve a mobile product for people doing hands-on work in the field, including cleaning, maintenance, and operational tasks. The focus is on making essential workflows clear and dependable when users have limited time, attention, or network access, across both iOS and Android.

Responsibilities - Learn how field teams complete tasks and where real-world conditions make their work difficult. - Develop and refine mobile experiences using Expo and React Native for iOS and Android. - Design offline-first data handling, synchronization, notifications, and recovery from interrupted sessions. - Test on physical devices and investigate performance issues. - Own releases from implementation through rollout, monitoring quality and user impact. - Improve a core workflow so field users can complete it more quickly and accurately.

Requirements - Experience building mobile applications with Expo and React Native. - Ability to deliver and maintain features across iOS and Android. - Understanding of offline-first behavior, data synchronization, and recovery when connectivity is unreliable. - Practical experience testing on real devices and assessing app performance. - Ability to manage a feature through implementation, release, and follow-up improvement.
