Site Reliability Engineer

Role overview Help keep services reliable that deliver order execution data, including orders, positions, and balances, through streams and APIs to client applications. You will develop into ownership of cloud infrastructure, observability, and on-call work, with guidance from senior reliability engineers and a defined readiness program.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using site reliability practices. - Develop observability for services and infrastructure to support reliable operations. - Learn the distributed systems behind order, position, and balance data streams and APIs. - Progress from shadowing senior engineers to independently owning infrastructure and on-call responsibilities. - Investigate how distributed services fail and contribute to reliable service operation.

Requirements - Engineering experience or foundational skills relevant to site reliability and cloud infrastructure. - Curiosity about failure modes in distributed systems. - Careful, disciplined approach to operational work where reliability matters to customers. - Ability to learn from senior engineers and take on increasing responsibility.
