AI and Automation Engineer

Role overview Build AI-enabled workflows and automation that help turn operational needs into useful, dependable tools. The role combines software development, integration work, and practical collaboration with stakeholders to identify suitable use cases and deliver solutions that can be maintained over time.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain automation that connects business processes, systems, and data sources. - Implement AI features and integrate model capabilities into applications or workflows. - Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements, assess feasibility, and define useful outcomes. - Test solutions, investigate failures, and improve reliability, performance, and maintainability. - Document implementations and provide guidance for deployment and ongoing support. - Consider data handling, access, and operational controls throughout solution delivery.

Requirements - Experience building software, integrations, or automated workflows in a production context. - Proficiency in a programming language and ability to work with APIs and structured data. - Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts and integrating model services into applications. - Strong analytical and debugging skills, with attention to reliability and edge cases. - Ability to explain technical tradeoffs and collaborate across technical and nontechnical teams. - Careful approach to handling sensitive or regulated data.

Nice to have - Experience with vector search, retrieval workflows, or MLOps practices. - Knowledge of compliance controls for regulated data handling.
