About this role
Role overview Join the enterprise quick service restaurant team and work across the full platform, including the point-of-sale system, backend services, and front-end surfaces. Help ensure the product is built to meet the new and expanding needs of large enterprise customers in the quick service segment.
Responsibilities - Design, build, deploy, and maintain highly resilient and scalable features across enterprise management products. - Lead complex projects that improve functionality and reliability for enterprise customers. - Partner with a wide array of cross-functional teams across the platform. - Ensure quality by building automated testing for changes. - Roll features out to customers, including monitoring for success after launch. - Collaborate with UX and product management on the definition and design of features. - Mentor and coach other engineers.
Requirements - 5+ years of experience building backend services and APIs. - Extensive experience working with an object-oriented language such as Java or Kotlin, with a deep understanding of testing, quality, and best practices. - Experience shipping production services and balancing delivery velocity with platform stability and reliability. - Experience building backend services and APIs and scaling distributed systems. - Excellent cross-team communication skills on complex technical topics. - Comfort working in a team environment with a shared codebase and a focus on delivering positive customer impact.
Nice to have - Experience building Android applications with Kotlin. - Experience building front-end applications.
