Job details
About this role
Role overview
Set product direction for a kitchen display system used to route orders, coordinate preparation, and help restaurant teams work accurately under pressure. The role spans enterprise workflows, broader adoption, kitchen data, and applied AI, translating operational needs into product investments and measurable business outcomes. The listing prefers candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones.
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy across enterprise capabilities, adoption growth, kitchen data, and AI-enabled workflows. - Identify and assess opportunities for AI to adjust preparation estimates, configure kitchen operations, route tickets, or balance workload. - Lead product delivery from discovery through launch, working with large restaurant groups to turn complex requirements into scalable decisions. - Define useful operational insights for both large operators seeking API-based analytics and smaller businesses needing practical reporting. - Build and validate the case for longer-term product investments, linking priorities to growth, customer retention, and reduced support needs. - Align engineering, design, customer, sales, and product partners around shared priorities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience setting strategy for a complex, operationally important product. - Ability to identify promising new opportunities, make a clear investment case, and carry ideas from early exploration toward delivery. - A thoughtful perspective on where AI and autonomous actions can help operational teams, including their risks. - Experience working directly with enterprise customers and turning demanding workflows into products that serve a broader market. - Strong understanding of the practical constraints facing restaurant operators, especially smaller teams without dedicated data or IT support. - Ability to build alignment across teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority.
Nice to have
Experience with products that combine hardware and software, or with food and beverage operations, is advantageous.
