Role overview
This position supports small and mid-sized restaurant operators as they adopt a cloud-based point-of-sale platform. The consultant acts as the customer's primary point of contact from the moment of purchase through go-live, operating with autonomy under an Onboarding Manager to hit monthly activation goals.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute onboarding plans with restaurant owners during the go-live phase, balancing quality, schedule, and budget. - Run remote site assessments to capture networking requirements before installation and communicate them to project resources. - Design and lead training programs for full restaurant staff on configured workflows, with emphasis on labor costs, food costs, table turn time, and guest experience. - Document POS installations remotely, observing best practices and flagging deviations identified during design. - Manage a portfolio of 80 or more restaurant onboarding engagements across a region simultaneously. - Deliver post-go-live remote support, troubleshooting issues and providing follow-up training during the customer's first days of usage.
Requirements
- Full professional fluency in Vietnamese and English. - Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry. - Three or more years in a role responsible for customer satisfaction and business operations, such as a restaurant general manager. - Comfort operating independently and reprioritizing in a constantly changing environment. - Documented history of meeting or exceeding targets. - Strong communication, organizational, and influencing skills.
Nice to have
- One or more years of experience using a point-of-sale platform, ideally in a service-industry context. - Familiarity with Salesforce CRM. - Background in the technology sector or at a SaaS company. - Experience in training, teaching, or instructional development.
Benefits and work setup
Compensation is structured by geographic pay zone, ranging from approximately $55,000 to $80,000 USD. The company follows a hybrid working approach that blends in-office collaboration with individual flexibility.
