Senior Native Engineer, Partnerships

Role overview Build and ship user-facing mobile experiences for a home services marketplace as part of an internal startup-style Partnerships team that incubates new products, business models, and integrations. The role spans both iOS and Android, partnering closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver net-new partner-driven experiences and GenAI-powered capabilities.

Responsibilities - Ship customer-facing mobile features end-to-end, from design handoff through release on iOS and Android. - Build net-new experiences and enhance existing workflows for both consumer and service professional applications. - Work across both platforms as needed, leveraging agentic tools and frontier models to accelerate delivery outside your primary stack. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to scope, iterate, and refine features. - Integrate marketplace capabilities into complementary platforms and partner sites, tailoring experiences to partner-specific needs. - Contribute to GenAI integration strategy and help evaluate emerging approaches for partner-facing experiences.

Requirements - 6+ years of industry software experience, with significant time building consumer-facing mobile features. - Fluency in either Android or iOS development, plus deep hands-on expertise with the modern language and UI stack on at least one platform (Kotlin + Jetpack Compose on Android, or Swift + SwiftUI on iOS). - Strong product sense, with the ability to translate product and design requirements into technical decisions and weigh in on UX tradeoffs. - Demonstrated ownership of features through the full lifecycle: experimentation, A/B testing, metrics instrumentation, data-driven iteration, and post-launch support. - Experience navigating platform constraints such as app store review, OS version support, and device fragmentation.

Benefits and work setup - Expected total cash compensation range for Ontario and British Columbia candidates is $180,200 to $233,200, with actual offers based on calibrated level, qualifications, and proficiency.
