Senior IT Engineer

Role overview

A hands-on Senior IT Engineer role based in Tallinn, owning day-to-day corporate IT operations for a globally distributed team of more than 100 employees within a crypto gaming organisation. The position manages the full employee IT lifecycle, identity and access, endpoint management, and SaaS administration, partnering closely with DevOps and infrastructure. It is a broad, independent ownership role focused on enabling secure, efficient work across the company.

Responsibilities

- Own the full employee IT lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and role changes across company systems - Administer Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, MFA, and hardware security keys, including YubiKey enforcement for critical systems - Deploy, configure, and maintain MDM for macOS and Windows, covering device configuration, application deployment, OS updates, and compliance policies - Research, pilot, and maintain endpoint security for critical roles with technical guidance from DevOps and security teams - Provide reliable remote IT support to employees across multiple locations and time zones - Maintain SaaS inventory, coordinate periodic access reviews, reclaim unused licences, and track renewals - Automate recurring IT administration tasks using scripts, APIs, and integrations

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in corporate IT, systems administration, IT operations, or a similar hands-on role - Strong practical experience supporting both macOS and Windows environments, ideally in a distributed or remote-first company - Hands-on experience deploying and operating an MDM solution, including staged rollouts, policy configuration, and troubleshooting - Strong experience administering Google Workspace plus working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, MFA, and hardware security keys - Practical knowledge of endpoint protection, EDR, device hardening, and security incident escalation - Basic Python scripting and API experience for automating repetitive administrative tasks
