Role overview Support reliable delivery of a complex, actively operated game product across mobile, console, and PC platforms. This associate-to-mid-level role focuses on build automation, release engineering, internal tooling, and close coordination with engineering, production, and live-operations teams.
Responsibilities - Maintain and improve build and release workflows across mobile, console, and PC targets. - Operate and enhance storefront-management tooling to support consistent distribution. - Incrementally improve build pipelines, automated testing, and rapid feedback solutions. - Develop utilities that help technical teams automate repetitive build requirements. - Coordinate release activities across multiple branches and development environments while working with production and live-operations partners. - Document automation, build, branching, and release processes for ongoing team use.
Requirements - Understanding of build and release practices, source control, branch management, and build testing; experience with Perforce is relevant. - Scripting and automation experience using Python or a comparable language. - Practical knowledge of continuous integration and automated build systems such as Jenkins or an equivalent platform. - Experience with task-tracking software and managing multiple development branches or environments. - C++ background and experience. - Clear communication and collaborative problem-solving skills.
Nice to have - Experience developing or testing REST APIs. - Familiarity with managing releases through major mobile app storefronts. - Advanced Python fluency. - Experience using AI tools to improve engineering productivity or automation. - Systems-administration knowledge across Windows, macOS, or Linux, or experience with provisioning tools such as Ansible.
Benefits and work setup - Remote work is available across the United States and Canada. - The listed base salary range is $82,000–$120,000 USD annually, with potential for a discretionary annual bonus.
