Role overview Own documentation for a biotechnology-focused software platform, its APIs, and its AI agent tooling. The work targets a technical audience of scientists, bioinformaticians, and developers who rely on clear, accurate references to do their jobs effectively.
Responsibilities - Author and maintain user guides for the core platform - Produce API reference documentation that stays accurate as interfaces evolve - Write tutorials that walk technical readers through common workflows - Draft release notes that explain changes in clear, useful language - Collaborate with engineering and product to keep documentation in step with releases
Requirements - Background in technical writing for software products - Comfort writing for readers with biotech, bioinformatics, or developer backgrounds - Ability to translate technical concepts into structured, searchable documentation - Experience producing reference material, tutorials, and release notes
Nice to have - Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, or developer documentation workflows
