Principal Consultant – Informatica MDM Architect

Role overview A senior consulting architect is needed to lead the design and delivery of enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) programs built on Informatica, with a particular emphasis on how MDM integrates with Salesforce and adjacent enterprise systems. The position blends hands-on architecture, client advisory work, and delivery leadership across discovery, design, build, deployment, and production stabilization.

Responsibilities - Lead discovery sessions with business, data, security, integration, and application stakeholders to define MDM goals, domain priorities, operating constraints, and measurable outcomes. - Design end-to-end Informatica MDM architectures spanning customer, product, supplier, reference, and other enterprise domains using appropriate cloud or multidomain capabilities. - Define canonical data models, hierarchies, relationships, crosswalks, match and merge rules, survivorship logic, trust frameworks, and golden-record processes. - Build current-state and target-state architecture, roadmaps, effort estimates, and sequencing plans for new builds, modernizations, and migrations. - Define integration patterns between MDM, source applications, and consuming applications using APIs, batch, event-driven services, middleware, and Informatica integration capabilities. - Set nonfunctional requirements for performance, scalability, availability, security, observability, and supportability, and provide architectural oversight through build, test, and go-live.

Requirements - Significant enterprise data-management consulting experience, including hands-on leadership of Informatica MDM implementations. - Architecture depth in Informatica Master Data Management Cloud, Multidomain MDM SaaS, or multidomain MDM, with depth in at least one master-data domain. - Strong grasp of MDM concepts: data modeling, match and merge, survivorship, hierarchy management, stewardship, workflow, reference data. - Demonstrated experience integrating MDM with Salesforce and other enterprise systems through REST or SOAP APIs, messaging, middleware, batch, or event-driven patterns. - Working knowledge of data quality, metadata, privacy, lineage, and governance within an enterprise data architecture. - Strong SQL and data-analysis skills, plus the consulting presence to explain tradeoffs to both technical and executive audiences.

Nice to have - Familiarity with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud capabilities such as data integration, quality, governance, cataloging, or application integration. - Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce industry clouds where MDM and Salesforce data models must coexist. - Experience with cloud data platforms, warehouses or lakehouses, and common enterprise integration technologies. - Relevant Informatica, Salesforce, cloud, governance, or architecture certifications, and a track record of shaping MDM across multiple business units or geographies.
