Product Designer

Role overview Design the main screen of a cash-flow forecasting product, where people need to understand quickly whether their upcoming finances may be tight. You will shape the dashboard and the journey from adding transactions to interpreting a forecast, making complex information clear on both laptops and phones.

Responsibilities - Own the forecast screen, dashboard, and transaction-to-forecast user flow. - Design charts that communicate projected cash flow, uncertainty, warnings, subscriptions, and unusual activity at a glance. - Build a visual system that presents financial information clearly without overwhelming users with a trading-terminal style of interface. - Participate in customer calls and use observed behavior to guide design decisions. - Develop prototypes in code or with tools close to implementation.

Requirements - At least five years designing software that supports decisions. - A portfolio featuring at least one substantial, data-heavy interface. - Ability to create and iterate on prototypes independently. - A considered approach to typography and the ability to explain design choices.
