Forward Deployed Engineer

Role overview

This Forward Deployed Engineer role is for a hands-on builder who works directly with demanding enterprise clients to solve complex operational problems. You will understand real business processes, then design and ship production software, AI-agent workflows, integrations, and automations that improve speed, cost, quality, risk, or capacity. Successful client-specific patterns are developed into reusable products, components, and delivery playbooks.

Responsibilities

- Build and deploy production AI-agent workflows, integrations, automations, and supporting internal tools. - Work closely with clients to understand their systems, constraints, processes, and desired outcomes. - Make architecture, scope, reliability, timeline, and business-impact trade-offs visible to both clients and internal teams. - Adapt reusable products to new deployments and continue improving solutions after launch as models, workflows, and requirements change. - Measure results using operational outcomes such as cycle time, cost, quality, risk reduction, and capacity released. - Feed lessons from client work back into product and engineering while creating abstractions that make future delivery faster and more robust.

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience shipping production software. - Strong TypeScript skills and the ability to design maintainable, scalable systems that are practical to operate. - Ability to understand a business process and translate it into reliable software. - Sound judgment when balancing delivery speed, quality, scope, architecture, and business value. - Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Working proficiency in Portuguese and English, plus willingness to travel when in-person client work materially improves the outcome.

Nice to have

- Experience with enterprise clients, AI agents, workflow automation, legal technology, financial operations, or enterprise integrations. - Background building internal platforms, developer tools, automation frameworks, or reusable technical primitives.
