Software QA Analyst

Role overview Help ensure software releases work as intended by planning and carrying out quality checks throughout the development cycle. The role covers web, mobile, and client/server applications, combining hands-on testing with defect follow-up, product input, and ongoing improvements to QA practices.

Responsibilities - Turn functional requirements into test plans and detailed cases, then run manual tests against expected behavior. - Test web, mobile, and client/server applications using suitable methods for each product area. - Document defects, track customer-reported issues, and retest fixes to confirm they work. - Create and update user training materials, including manuals and presentations. - Suggest procedures, methods, or tools that could make quality work more efficient. - Contribute to product requirements and provide analysis to development and support colleagues.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment in resolving issues. - Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office. - Fluent written and spoken English. - Clear communication with technical and customer stakeholders, organization, and ability to work well in a fast-paced team.

Nice to have - Familiarity with test case management software. - Understanding of operations in manufacturing, construction, or transportation.
