Backend Engineer

Role overview Build and maintain backend services for a no-code enterprise platform used to digitize operational workflows. You’ll contribute across the delivery cycle, from shaping technical approaches with product and design colleagues to implementing features and APIs, improving existing code, and supporting changes in a live environment.

Responsibilities - Design and build services and contribute to system architecture for current and future projects. - Review colleagues’ work and share technical feedback with the engineering team. - Work with product and design partners to clarify business needs and use cases. - Translate requirements into practical technical solutions. - Implement customer-facing features and API endpoints, refactor existing code, and carry changes through release. - Deliver assigned development work on schedule.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in computer science. - At least two years of professional PHP development experience. - Familiarity with SQL queries and relational data. - Ability to work independently, learn new technologies, and address challenges as systems scale. - Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have - Experience with Laravel, PostgreSQL, Git, or a master’s degree in computer science. - Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
