Role overview
Lead and produce a daily podcast focused on a specific NBA team, delivering commentary and analysis for a national sports podcast network. The role combines on-air hosting, content production, and audience engagement, with shows broadcast live and distributed across major podcast directories and streaming services.
Responsibilities
- Host and produce a 30-minute podcast episode five days per week, Monday through Friday. - Broadcast shows live on a video platform and distribute episodes across major podcast directories and over-the-top streaming services, including video-on-demand and free ad-supported channels. - Engage with fans daily across social channels, building a community centered on the team. - Deliver insightful analysis, news, and commentary that establishes the show as a trusted voice for NBA fans.
Requirements
- Strong, demonstrated passion for the NBA and its teams. - Excellent verbal communication skills and an engaging on-air personality. - Experience in podcasting or broadcasting is preferred but not required. - Ability to connect authentically with diverse fan audiences.
