TechUp Labs is on the lookout for a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern with experience in Figma and an interest in using ChatGPT as part of the creative process. About the Job: As a Graphic Design Intern at TechUp Labs, you’ll gain hands-on experience working on real-world design projects that directly impact our products and brand. You’ll work closely with our design, marketing, and product teams to craft compelling visuals while also learning how to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance your creative workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing marketing materials, social media graphics, presentations, and product visuals.
- Use Figma to create and edit design components and layouts.
- Explore ways to utilize ChatGPT to brainstorm concepts, generate ideas, and support content creation.
- Ensure design consistency across different projects by following brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand requirements and deliver timely design assets.
- Stay updated on design trends and tools to bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Required Skills and Qualifications: Basic experience or strong interest in graphic design with a portfolio of academic or freelance work.
- Proficiency in Figma and a willingness to learn additional tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Curiosity and openness to using ChatGPT or other AI tools to support design ideation or copywriting.
- Good understanding of design principles (typography, color, layout).
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with motion design or video editing is a plus.
- Interest in UI/UX or product design is a bonus.
