Senior Infrastructure Consultant

Role overview A senior infrastructure consultant position sits inside a professional services team that delivers complex enterprise infrastructure work for external customers. The role blends hands-on engineering with discovery, design, and migration responsibilities across compute, virtualization, storage, and container platforms, and includes a clear path into emerging AI and GPU infrastructure topics.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and support enterprise environments spanning compute, virtualization, storage, and container platforms - Work with one or more hypervisors including VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Proxmox VE - Architect and maintain enterprise storage solutions covering SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NFS - Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows Server estates - Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads - Produce high-level and low-level designs, migration plans, implementation plans, and supporting technical documentation - Lead or contribute to infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives - Engage directly with customers during discovery, workshops, and design sessions, and partner with pre-sales on statements of work

Requirements - Significant hands-on experience with enterprise virtualization, compute, and physical server infrastructure - Working knowledge of enterprise storage protocols and topologies including SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NFS - Comfort administering Linux and Windows Server in complex environments - Practical exposure to Kubernetes and other container technologies - Ability to author infrastructure design documents and run customer-facing consulting work - Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, storage, virtualization, and operating system layers, plus solid networking fundamentals

Nice to have - Familiarity with vSphere/VCF, vSAN, NSX, Nutanix AOS/Prism, hyperconverged infrastructure, enterprise backup and disaster recovery, and infrastructure automation tooling such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, or Python - Exposure to public cloud platforms - Curiosity about NVIDIA DGX/HGX systems, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, GPU Operator, Base Command Manager, or AI Factory environments, even without direct production experience
