SAP BTP Developer with German (m/f/d)

Role overview

Develop cloud applications and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform, translating business needs into maintainable solutions that extend SAP landscapes. You will work with German-speaking stakeholders and collaborate with consultants, architects, and business teams on long-term enterprise projects. Developers with ABAP or full-stack experience looking to deepen their BTP expertise are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain applications and extensions on SAP BTP. - Build backend services with CAP using Node.js or Java, or with ABAP Cloud and RAP. - Create user interfaces with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, or Fiori elements. - Build and consume OData and REST APIs to connect applications with SAP S/4HANA and other systems. - Use platform services for data, authorization, destinations, and connectivity; deploy applications on Cloud Foundry or Kyma with Git and CI/CD pipelines. - Document technical work and support testing and go-live activities in collaboration with international project teams.

Requirements

- At least three years of software development experience, including one to two years on SAP BTP projects. - Hands-on experience with CAP using Node.js or Java, or with ABAP Cloud and RAP. - Experience developing with SAP Fiori or SAPUI5. - Working knowledge of OData or REST APIs and Git. - German proficiency at B2 level or higher and fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

- Experience with SAP HANA Cloud, Integration Suite, or SAP Build. - Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or Kyma. - SAP BTP or development certification.
