Role overview
Lead delivery of a mobile banking app across iOS and Android, connecting technical execution with product priorities and customer needs. The role covers the full lifecycle—from solution analysis and coordination through release and ongoing improvement—and includes building a mobile development team and supporting the launch of digital products.
Responsibilities - Build and lead a mobile app team, encouraging collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement. - Coordinate technical analysis, solution design, development, releases and post-release optimisation. - Turn strategic priorities into delivery plans and support the rollout and growth of app capabilities. - Coordinate business requirements, profitability analysis, approvals and delivery planning for new digital products. - Track app, customer experience, adoption and delivery indicators; communicate progress, risks and dependencies to stakeholders. - Work across product, design, development, quality assurance, operations and support teams, using customer feedback and market needs to guide improvements. - Maintain product documentation such as specifications, wireframes and process flows, and support alignment with security, risk and data protection requirements.
Requirements - University degree in IT, computer science, engineering or a related field. - At least two years of experience in a similar role. - Experience with financial apps, banking, payments or fintech products. - Understanding of mobile app delivery, architecture, integrations and cross-platform approaches. - Experience in Agile teams and with third-party APIs, authentication, banking APIs or vendor SDKs. - Familiarity with QA, testing, defect management, release validation and mobile UX principles. - Fluent written and spoken English, with strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
