Network Expert

Role overview Own the design and operation of reliable network infrastructure spanning on-premises environments and multiple cloud platforms. The role combines network engineering, automation, security, and incident response to support highly available services.

Responsibilities - Design and operate scalable networks, including routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, and VPNs. - Build cloud and hybrid connectivity, network segmentation, and multi-region redundancy. - Automate network provisioning, configuration, monitoring, alerting, and failover workflows. - Improve availability and performance through capacity planning, tuning, and disaster recovery readiness. - Investigate complex network incidents, identify root causes, and support critical-service on-call response. - Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, and automation templates; coordinate with DevOps, SRE, and security teams.

Requirements - At least five years in network engineering, infrastructure, or cloud networking. - Hands-on enterprise networking and experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or a similar language, and experience with Terraform, Ansible, or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools. - Understanding of hybrid cloud and multi-region network design, security segmentation, VPNs, and zero-trust principles. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills. - Degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have - Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical environments. - Familiarity with network monitoring, telemetry, and observability tools.
