About this role
Role overview Design and build the server-side systems behind web applications, with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, low latency, and throughput. The work includes application architecture, APIs, data storage, and services running in cloud or container environments.
Responsibilities - Develop and maintain clean, reliable back-end application code. - Build RESTful or GraphQL APIs and WebSocket services. - Design systems using multi-tier, microservices, or event-driven architectures. - Work with relational and NoSQL databases to support application needs. - Build and operate services in cloud and containerized environments.
Requirements - Any degree and at least three years of relevant experience. - Programming experience in a language such as Node.js, Java, C#/.NET, Go, or Python. - Experience designing and developing APIs or real-time services. - Knowledge of software design principles and maintainable code practices. - A growth mindset.
Nice to have Experience with Docker or Kubernetes; cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or PCF; and databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Cassandra.
