Backend Software Engineer

Role overview Build backend systems for an AI agent runtime, covering how agents plan work, use tools, retain context and recover from failures. The role combines production software engineering with improving the reliability and controllability of LLM-powered applications.

Responsibilities - Design and implement orchestration for agents and their tool calls. - Improve task completion through measurable evaluations. - Make agent behavior observable so it can be inspected. - Support interruption and recovery in agent workflows. - Address safety concerns in tool-using systems.
