About this role
Role overview A client-facing automation engineering role helping organizations eliminate repetitive manual work and streamline business processes through intelligent automation. You'll design and deploy solutions spanning telephony systems, data entry workflows, internal communications, accounting, and cross-departmental operations. The position is remote within the US, full-time, with a published compensation range of $120,000 to $170,000.
Responsibilities - Identify automation opportunities alongside client operations teams across a range of industries - Design and implement AI-powered telephony, document processing, and intelligent routing solutions - Build automated data entry pipelines that extract information, validate it against business rules, and populate multiple systems - Apply AI capabilities such as document understanding, natural language processing, and conversational interfaces - Deploy reliable workflows that operate with minimal ongoing intervention
Requirements - Proven track record automating business operations and shipping production systems - Strong software engineering background across multiple programming languages - Experience with workflow tools, scripting, and integrating disparate systems - Comfort working directly with clients to translate operational needs into technical designs
Nice to have - AI or machine learning experience, particularly with large language models or conversational AI - Experience presenting at or attending automation conferences
