Project Manager, Implementation

Role overview

Lead healthcare and medical device data implementations from initial discovery through launch and transition to ongoing support. You’ll coordinate client stakeholders and internal technical teams, combining project delivery with an understanding of regulated product data workflows.

Responsibilities - Plan and manage implementation scope, timelines, milestones, risks, quality checks, and delivery across the full project lifecycle. - Gather and document requirements with client business, IT, regulatory, and quality stakeholders. - Work with technical teams to define solution designs, specifications, and current and future process flows. - Triage workflow, data feed, and other implementation issues; coordinate investigation, resolution, and client updates. - Help clients navigate medical device data needs involving programs such as FDA GUDID and EUDAMED, and keep track of open items and known issues. - Prepare launch reviews, reporting, and a structured handoff to the ongoing account or support team.

Requirements - At least five years of project management or client-facing SaaS experience. - Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including experience working with senior client stakeholders. - Ability to coordinate across technical and business teams, manage project plans, and translate client needs into actionable requirements. - Comfort with technology, product data, data quality, and complex client workflows. - Experience with project and office tools such as Smartsheet, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and Access; familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, or Wrike is useful. - A related bachelor’s degree and PMP certification are preferred, not required.

Nice to have

Experience supporting medical device, life sciences, healthcare technology, regulatory affairs, quality management, or healthcare data operations is valuable. Familiarity with UDI and related requirements—including EU MDR/IVDR, GDSN, SWISSDAMED, or TGA UDI data—is helpful but not required at entry.

Benefits and work setup

Remote role open to candidates located in Portugal. Periodic travel to client sites or offices may be needed. The listed base salary range is €30,000–€35,144.80, with a listed bonus range of €3,000–€3,514.
