Senior Salesforce Developer

Role overview A senior builder role on a Salesforce delivery practice, working alongside solution architects and consultants to turn approved designs into maintainable platform code, Lightning experiences, and integrations that hold up after go-live. The position focuses on complex Apex, asynchronous patterns, Lightning Web Components, and production troubleshooting across multi-cloud programs. It is an ownership-driven role, not a ticket-queue position.

Responsibilities - Implement Apex classes, triggers, and domain services that respect bulkification and governor limits across multi-cloud Salesforce programs - Design and build asynchronous Apex patterns including Queueable, Batch, Schedulable, and Platform Event consumers where synchronous paths would fail under load - Develop Lightning Web Components with clear layering, separation of concerns, wire adapters, and accessible UI patterns - Write efficient SOQL and SOSL, including selective queries, relationship queries, and safe dynamic query construction - Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST and SOAP callouts, Named Credentials, and inbound APIs with retries, idempotency, and clear error surfaces - Participate in Git-based branching, peer review, scratch-org development, and CI/CD promotions; own test coverage that proves behavior rather than just hitting a percentage - Troubleshoot production issues using debug logs and event monitoring, leaving runbooks and handover notes for managed services teams

Requirements - 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce platform experience in consulting or product environments - Deep day-to-day fluency in Apex, triggers, asynchronous Apex, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, and Flow - Proven delivery on client or production orgs where limits, security, and release discipline mattered - Comfort explaining trade-offs to architects and estimating engineering risk honestly - Experience with unlocked packages or equivalent packaging and CI/CD promotion paths - Salesforce Platform Developer I certification, with Platform Developer II preferred; JavaScript Developer I is a plus

Nice to have Experience Cloud, Omnistudio, or Lightning Web Runtime exposure; MuleSoft or Informatica middleware work; Agentforce invocable actions or prompt-template engineering support; and Data 360 or CRM Analytics engineering adjacent work.

Benefits and work setup Remote, full-time within the United States, with New York as the stated base for timezone overlap. Client workshops and release windows may require US East morning availability, and the role sits within multi-shore pods operating under one architecture standard.
