Software Engineer (Platform / Product)

Role overview

A hands-on software engineering role focused on building and evolving a modern internal platform that supports enterprise software and AI-enabled products. The position centers on core platform capabilities, internal tools, and product-facing systems rather than ML or research work. Success depends on strong engineering fundamentals, comfort with continuous delivery, and a willingness to own work from design through deployment in environments that value autonomy and judgment.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, test, and deploy high-quality software supporting internal platform development and customer-facing products - Take end-to-end ownership of features and services, from initial design through production operation - Contribute to system and software design discussions, reasoning about tradeoffs, boundaries, and long-term maintainability - Ship changes to production frequently using modern CI/CD pipelines and trunk-based development practices - Write automated tests across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers to support safe continuous delivery - Participate in and improve DevOps practices, including build pipelines, deployment automation, and environment consistency - Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools - Actively monitor the behavior of systems you build and respond when things break

Requirements

- 3-5+ years of professional software engineering experience - Strong software engineering fundamentals grounded in real systems work - Hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and React with TypeScript - Familiarity with AWS, Docker, ECS, and Terraform for infrastructure and deployment - Experience with end-to-end testing tools such as Playwright - Comfort owning production systems and operating them with sound judgment

- Genuine enthusiasm for AI-assisted development workflows and tools, grounded in solid engineering practice rather than hype - Experience reasoning about platform boundaries, abstraction layers, and long-term maintainability
