About this role
Role overview The Dedicated Service Advisor supports clients of a payroll infrastructure platform whose tax compliance APIs and software tools power paychecks for tens of millions of U.S. workers. The role centers on delivering dedicated account guidance to software companies, payroll service providers, and enterprise customers that depend on accurate withholding tax calculations. AI tools are a fundamental part of how the team works, and fluency with these tools is expected and assessed during the interview process.
Responsibilities - Act as the dedicated point of contact for assigned client accounts using payroll tax compliance APIs and software - Respond to client inquiries and help resolve issues related to platform functionality and tax compliance topics - Use AI tools in daily workflows to research questions, draft responses, and improve turnaround time - Maintain account documentation and interaction records so context carries across conversations and team members - Coordinate with internal teams when issues require escalation, deeper investigation, or product feedback
Requirements - Background in a client-facing service, customer support, or account management role - Comfort working with software platforms and learning new technical tools quickly - Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain payroll and tax concepts clearly - Reliable and secure internet connection when working from a location other than the office - Ability to work on-site in Scottsdale on designated days, approximately two to three days per week, if based locally
Nice to have - Familiarity with payroll, payroll tax, or human resources technology - Experience supporting enterprise or platform-based customers with high service expectations
