Product Lead [Marketing Products Team]
Job details
About this role
Role overview
This Product Lead role owns the vision and execution for a suite of marketing tools embedded within an enterprise retail platform serving a regulated industry. The position blends hands-on product work with light people leadership, shaping direction, driving complex initiatives from problem definition through launch, and mentoring Product Owners. Success means converting customer insights and business priorities into a coherent roadmap that helps retailers engage, retain, and grow their customer base through segmentation, automation, loyalty, referrals, promotions, and feedback loops.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the product vision for the marketing area, translating strategy into prioritized initiatives with clear outcomes. - Lead complex product initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and validation through delivery, launch, and post-launch evaluation. - Partner directly with customers and stakeholders to surface underlying business problems and identify high-value opportunities. - Balance short-term delivery needs against long-term scalability, making trade-offs across customer value, commercial priorities, technical constraints, speed, and quality. - Mentor Product Owners and strengthen product thinking, discovery practices, and decision-making across the direction. - Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, Analytics, and senior leadership to align on direction and execution.
Requirements
- Around five or more years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Product Lead, or in a comparable product role. - At least two years of people management experience, ideally leading Product Managers, Product Owners, or other product professionals. - Proven track record owning complex B2B product initiatives from discovery through launch and outcome evaluation. - Strong structured thinking and communication skills, with the ability to organize incomplete or conflicting information and explain reasoning clearly. - Demonstrated ability to balance customer needs, business priorities, technical constraints, and speed in a B2B context.
Nice to have
- Experience shaping a connected, multi-product platform rather than a single isolated product line. - Comfort working with globally distributed teams and customers based in different regions. - Background in retail, eCommerce, marketing technology, or customer engagement products.
Benefits and work setup
- 100% remote, remote-first company with no physical offices required. - Flexible working hours with a core collaboration window of 10:00–16:00 CET. - B2B contract with compensation paid in USD. - 20 paid vacation days, 12 holidays, and 3 sick leave days per year. - Medical insurance available after the probation period. - Equipment reimbursement for laptops, monitors, and similar tools.
