Full-Stack Engineer (Next.js / Laravel)

Role overview A full-stack engineering role covering both the front end and the API layer for client products at a remote-first software studio serving startups and growing businesses worldwide. The work spans modern web interfaces and server-side systems, with end-to-end ownership from architecture decision through production deployment.

Responsibilities - Build performant web applications and APIs end to end across the front end and back end. - Develop user-facing interfaces with Next.js 16 and React, focusing on performance and user experience. - Design and maintain server-side systems and APIs with Laravel backed by Postgres. - Deploy and operate workloads on Vercel for the web tier and cloud VPS infrastructure for the back end. - Collaborate with designers and mobile engineers to deliver cohesive product experiences for multiple clients. - Participate in code reviews, pairing, and architectural discussions within a small senior team.

Requirements - Strong production experience with Next.js and React on the front end. - Solid experience with Laravel and relational databases, particularly Postgres. - Comfort building and consuming RESTful APIs as both producer and consumer. - Familiarity with modern deployment targets including Vercel and cloud VPS environments. - Track record of owning features from architecture through production deploy.

Nice to have - Experience integrating Firebase or Supabase as part of a wider stack. - Exposure to AI integration work on top of web back ends.
