About this role
Role overview Lead social video production and creator partnerships across college- and career-focused channels. You’ll shape a repeatable process from channel ideas and talent sourcing through publishing and measurement, while helping creators make platform-native content that connects with audiences and supports business growth.
Responsibilities - Lead social media specialists and manage the end-to-end production system, from ideation and creator recruitment to publishing and performance review. - Develop AI-assisted research and trend-tracking workflows while keeping content credible, authentic, and community-focused. - Set experimentation plans, apply platform best practices, and share insights across channels. - Find and recruit creators, customers, partners, and user-generated-content talent; manage outreach, negotiations, and agreements. - Give creators creative direction on storytelling and channel fit while preserving their individual voices. - Keep talent, production, publishing schedules, and budgets on track; build engaged channel communities. - Track social performance against audience and business measures, including conversions and revenue, and report findings to guide future work.
Requirements - At least five years in social media, creator partnerships, or talent management, including two or more years directly managing creators and negotiating partnerships. - Current, in-depth knowledge of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube, including long-form video and Shorts. - Strong judgment on hooks, storytelling, and editing, with the ability to let creators retain their own voice. - Demonstrated ability to source, negotiate with, and grow creator relationships. - Experience leading social production and managing social media specialists. - Analytical skills that connect channel performance with conversions and revenue, not only views. - Experience using AI tools for research, trend tracking, content production, or workflows.
Nice to have - Experience building a user-generated-content or customer-to-creator program. - SEO and search knowledge, including keyword research, metadata, and how video appears in search and AI-generated answers.
Benefits and work setup - Full-time contract role, with work scheduled during Pacific Time business hours, Monday through Friday. - Requires use of your own computer and reliable high-speed internet.
