Role overview A senior front-end engineering role focused on building the next generation of an AI/ML operations platform. The platform provides ongoing assurance for deployed machine learning models, helping users monitor performance, manage drift, and keep systems reliable long after they leave the lab. The engineer will partner closely with data scientists, product designers, and platform engineers to translate complex requirements into intuitive, maintainable user experiences.
Responsibilities - Build production front-end features for an AI/ML operations platform using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript - Translate user needs and design specifications into responsive, accessible interfaces - Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs into application workflows - Collaborate with product designers, back-end engineers, and DevOps to deliver cohesive user experiences - Maintain automated test coverage using frameworks such as Playwright and Jest - Deploy and operate front-end services in cloud-based environments and use version control practices that support AI-assisted development
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent - Strong UI/UX fundamentals, including responsive design and modern CSS - Production experience with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript - Familiarity with Next.js, Vite, and component libraries such as Material UI - Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines - US citizenship with ability and willingness to obtain a Secret US security clearance
Nice to have - Familiarity with TanStack Query, Axios, React Context API, or styled-components - Proficiency in Python or Go - Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes with tools such as Helm - Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure - Experience translating Figma designs into polished interfaces - An active Secret (or higher) US security clearance
