Role overview
Lead product direction for tools that help early-stage founders establish and operate their businesses. This role combines customer discovery, product strategy, technical scoping, execution with engineering and design, measurement, and go-to-market planning. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from identifying founder pain points to improving adoption, outcomes, and day-to-day usability.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of how founders start and run companies, including the obstacles they face and the workflows they rely on. - Identify high-impact opportunities, set priorities, and contribute to a product strategy focused on helping startups reach meaningful progress quickly. - Partner with engineering and design to define product experiences, technical foundations, and delivery plans, while removing execution blockers. - Create simple, capable user experiences and maintain clear communication about priorities, progress, decisions, and measurable impact. - Represent the product with founders, investors, accelerators, and potential partners; establish relationships that can inform development or expand product capabilities. - Define and monitor product and business metrics, use feedback and support insights to diagnose problems, and drive solutions for recurring user needs.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of product management experience or experience as a product-focused founder. - Demonstrated success shipping user-facing or API products built on complex, high-scale technical systems. - Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to express customer problems precisely and align varied stakeholders. - Comfort using data to measure user impact and make product decisions. - Genuine interest in helping founders build businesses, with persistence and ownership through ambiguity and execution challenges. - Willingness to experiment with AI and substantially change working methods when new tools produce better results.
Nice to have
- Experience as a founder or in a very early-stage company. - Software engineering experience, a computer science or engineering degree, or comparable technical background.
