Backend Software Engineer

Role overview Develop and operate backend services for a remote tachograph data download product. The work covers the services and vehicle information database that retrieve, process, and manage data, with a focus on reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency. You’ll contribute to product decisions and collaborate with cross-functional software teams in an agile environment.

Responsibilities - Help specify new features and improvements alongside the product owner. - Build and maintain business-logic services and REST/JSON APIs using .NET Core. - Design software architecture for high availability and horizontal scaling. - Improve product quality, security, and performance. - Write maintainable code and uphold engineering standards through reviews.

Requirements - Strong C# skills and a solid technical background, typically supported by a relevant degree or equivalent knowledge. - Strong experience with relational databases, particularly SQL Server. - Knowledge of software design, architecture, and development life-cycle practices. - Careful problem-solving, reliability, and attention to detail, including under pressure. - Fluency in English.
