Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack JS (Insurance Distribution squad)

Role overview Develop a mature insurance distribution platform used daily by broker partners, adding features while keeping the product straightforward as it serves more products and European markets. The role spans the full insurance journey, from quote and risk assessment through contract documents and policy management, with an emphasis on guided, easy-to-use subscription flows.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain full stack features across quoting, risk questionnaires, contract generation, document handling, and policy administration. - Design guided subscription journeys that simplify insurance workflows for users. - Adapt the platform to differences between markets while keeping its experience consistent and scalable. - Deliver new capabilities alongside ongoing operational support for a platform already in regular use. - Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and business colleagues to shape and ship improvements. - Make technical and product decisions that support distribution and conversion goals.

Requirements - At least five years of software engineering experience, including applications with significant business logic. - Strong JavaScript skills and TypeScript experience. - Ability to take ownership of work from initial problem through delivery and make sound trade-offs. - Attention to code structure, implementation detail, and the quality of the user experience. - Understanding of business outcomes such as distribution and conversion. - Based in Paris or the surrounding region and available to work in the office two to three days per week.
