Role overview
We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to design and build scalable, high-performance applications using modern Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript stacks. The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, multi-cloud and edge technologies, and a balance of front-end, back-end, and infrastructure work. You will contribute to AI orchestration, automated cloud optimization, and high-concurrency systems in a collaborative, distributed team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Java and Kotlin applications with Spring Boot, using Virtual Threads (Project Loom) for high-concurrency workloads. - Integrate AI capabilities using frameworks such as Spring AI or LangChain4j. - Optimize performance and fault tolerance with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, and Bedrock for AI workflows. - Develop and maintain type-safe APIs using GraphQL or tRPC for seamless front-end and back-end integration. - Build responsive, high-performance front-end applications with TypeScript-first frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue. - Apply DevSecOps practices, including automated vulnerability scanning and secure coding standards, and use AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor. - Streamline deployment using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or AKS) and contribute to Agile processes across distributed teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in Java and Kotlin development, with a strong portfolio in Spring Boot and modern JVM features. - Deep proficiency in TypeScript for type-safe front-end development. - Strong command of OpenTelemetry for tracing and monitoring distributed systems. - Solid understanding of relational databases (Postgres or RDS), NoSQL stores such as DynamoDB, and Vector Databases for AI search. - Proficiency with Git-based workflows and CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins. - Strong communication skills for conveying complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK for cloud resource management. - Deep knowledge of Test-Driven Development and frameworks such as JUnit 5 or Playwright. - Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures and event-driven patterns. - AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud certifications.
