Full Stack Javascript Software Engineer

Role overview

A full stack engineering role centered on modern JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems for scalable, AI-augmented, data-driven applications. The work spans REST and GraphQL APIs, distributed databases, cloud-native microservices, and edge computing architecture.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using Next.js, Remix, or NestJS within the MERN or MEAN stack. - Build features powered by Large Language Models and integrate AI agents into frontend and backend workflows. - Architect type-safe APIs using REST alongside GraphQL or tRPC. - Implement solutions with modern microservices and serverless design patterns. - Manage SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases, including vector databases for AI search. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features meeting client requirements. - Ensure quality and reliability through testing with Vitest, Playwright, or Cypress. - Optimize performance and scalability on AWS, Azure, or GCP with focus on Edge Functions and global distribution. - Participate in code reviews and uphold industry standards across the codebase.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Deep proficiency in the MERN or MEAN stack for building scalable full-stack applications. - Mastery of TypeScript for advanced, type-safe development. - Expertise in REST APIs and proficiency with GraphQL or tRPC. - Comfort with microservices architecture, modern design patterns, and event-driven systems. - Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and automated security scanning using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar. - Proficiency with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket. - Experience with Jira or comparable task management and backlog grooming tools. - Strong cloud knowledge across AWS, Azure, GCP, including serverless deployments and observability. - Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

- Proficiency with AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Tabnine to accelerate development and refactoring. - Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban practices. - Test-Driven Development mastery with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing experience. - DevOps tooling exposure such as Terraform, Pulumi, or OpenTofu. - Ability to translate business requirements into high-value technical solutions and guide clients or internal teams.
