Role overview
An experienced .NET engineering role focused on building high-performance, scalable enterprise and desktop applications. The work spans backend services in C#, dynamic user interfaces, and cloud deployment on Azure for robust software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust, scalable applications using modern .NET and C#. - Build dynamic, user-friendly interfaces using Blazor, React, Angular, or NextJS that integrate seamlessly with backend services. - Apply object-oriented principles, design patterns, and C# features such as LINQ, async/await, and generics. - Deliver enterprise-level solutions using C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API. - Design and access data efficiently with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core. - Deploy, scale, and manage applications on Azure using App Services, Azure Functions, and Cosmos DB. - Build high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices. - Apply SDLC processes and Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. - Operate CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code practices. - Mentor junior developers and lead development teams to deliver high-quality software. - Integrate Large Language Model capabilities using Azure OpenAI or Semantic Kernel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Experience with Blazor for modern interactive web UI in .NET. - Familiarity with .NET MAUI for cross-platform application development. - Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or comparable DevOps toolchains. - Understanding of event-driven architecture using Azure Service Bus or similar tools. - Proficiency with AI-driven development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor. - Comfort with Git and platforms such as GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket. - Experience with task management and backlog grooming in Jira or similar tools. - Clear written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to manage multiple tasks or priorities effectively. - Basic cloud knowledge across AWS, Azure, GCP, including application deployment and monitoring. - Strong asynchronous communication skills working with distributed global teams. - Awareness of security principles, secure coding, and performance optimization.
Nice to have
- Comfort working in sprints, daily stand-ups, and Scrum or Kanban cadences. - Deployment automation best-practice knowledge. - Test-Driven Development experience with frameworks like MSTest, NUnit, or xUnit. - Infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or OpenTofu. - Application performance monitoring using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
