Senior Software Engineer

Role overview Build enterprise AI infrastructure for financial institutions as part of a small, hands-on engineering team. The role centers on a Python and FastAPI backend backed by PostgreSQL, with end-to-end ownership of features from design through testing and deployment.

Responsibilities - Develop and optimize backend services using Python and FastAPI. - Build reliable, efficient interactions with PostgreSQL. - Diagnose system bottlenecks and make sound architecture decisions. - Deliver complete features across the development lifecycle, including testing and deployment. - Identify product and infrastructure improvements and carry them through with initiative.

Requirements - Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building backend systems. - Practical ability to work with Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL. - Systems thinking and the ability to investigate performance or reliability issues. - Comfort making architecture decisions and delivering work independently. - Adaptability in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, with a preference for simple, robust solutions.
