AI Backend Engineer

Role overview A senior, hands-on engineering position focused on building and maintaining scalable, AI-powered backend services for enterprise environments. Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services that power AI-driven applications in production. - Develop and evolve REST APIs and microservices that integrate with AI capabilities. - Containerize applications and deploy them onto Kubernetes-based infrastructure. - Own the backend architecture, ensuring reliability, security, and performance at scale. - Collaborate closely with frontend developers, infrastructure engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Contribute to operational improvements that make systems easier to run and monitor.

Requirements - Significant professional experience as a backend engineer, ideally in senior-level roles. - Strong background building distributed microservices and cloud-native applications. - Hands-on experience with REST API design and Kubernetes in production. - Familiarity with containerization and modern cloud infrastructure patterns. - Ability to collaborate across teams and take ownership of architectural decisions. - Comfort working on AI-powered services and integrating AI APIs.
