Software Security Researcher, GPU and AI Systems
Job details
About this role
Role overview
This is a research-oriented security role focused on the emerging attack surface around GPU and AI infrastructure. The position combines original vulnerability discovery with the engineering work required to convert findings into production-grade runtime detections. The successful candidate will operate at the boundary between offensive security research and defensive platform engineering.
Responsibilities
- Conduct original security research across GPU drivers, runtimes, and adjacent AI infrastructure components - Investigate container and virtualization boundaries for tenant isolation weaknesses in multi-tenant environments - Audit model supply chains for integrity, provenance, and trust gaps - Design and ship runtime detections that transform research findings into protective production controls - Produce clear technical write-ups and remediation guidance for engineering and platform teams - Track emerging threats and disclosures in AI and accelerated-compute environments
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in security research, vulnerability discovery, or offensive security work - Strong knowledge of GPU compute stacks, AI runtimes, or low-level system internals - Familiarity with containerization, virtualization, and multi-tenant security models - Ability to write production-quality code for detection, telemetry, and instrumentation systems - Solid understanding of model supply chain risks and threat models specific to AI systems
