About this role
Role overview A full-stack engineering role on an AI Data Infrastructure team supporting autonomous vehicle development. The mission is to provide trusted, useful data to power autonomy work, spanning data engineering, ML modeling, ML infrastructure, and data introspection and visualization. A core focus is the suite of internal tools used daily across multiple customer personas, from autonomy engineers to executive leaders evaluating safety benchmarks.
Responsibilities - Partner with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to define a vision for a state-of-the-art autonomous vehicle data introspection platform, along with a pragmatic implementation roadmap that accelerates product development while keeping safety front and center. - Deliver against that roadmap while holding a high bar for engineering excellence within the team. - Discover key issues in existing tools across each customer persona and proactively address the gaps. - Drive technical discussions to deliver solutions on time. - Evangelize technical solutions across the company to maximize business impact.
Requirements - 3+ years driving full-stack development with large-scale, diverse data such as video, audio, sensor data, and text. - Experience building modern full-stack solutions using React, TypeScript, Go, Python, and similar technologies, with effective collaboration across multi-functional teams. - Solid understanding of data storage architectures and associated serving trade-offs, including SQL and No-SQL solutions. - A proven track record of building scalable, reliable full-stack solutions in a fast-paced environment. - Deep understanding of design trade-offs, with the ability to articulate them and achieve alignment with others. - Experience integrating novel AI techniques into front-end applications.
