Role overview Senior Full Stack Engineer position on a growing team building a large-scale digital advertising platform. The role produces production-level code with direct impact on the product, working with sizable datasets across modern web and backend stacks.
Responsibilities - Design and ship production code across frontend and backend layers of the advertising platform. - Work with large datasets and modern stacks that may include Go, Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver features end to end. - Contribute to one of several hiring teams such as Billing (invoicing, tax, and payment workflows), an AI-powered customer experience team, Insights (campaign analytics), an orchestration team building automated cross-channel workflows, a Creatives Library team producing in-house creative tooling, Developer Experience (CI/CD, tooling, and platform foundations), Audiences and Pixels (audience and conversion data workflows), and Developer Ecosystems (external developer platform and APIs). - Mentor teammates and contribute to architectural decisions within the full-stack group.
Requirements - Significant professional experience as a full stack engineer working across backend and frontend codebases. - Proficiency with modern web technologies, including a JavaScript or TypeScript-based frontend framework and a backend language such as Go or Ruby. - Comfort working with large datasets and designing features that scale with customer growth. - Experience collaborating in cross-functional product engineering teams. - Strong communication skills and ability to lead within a collaborative engineering organization.
Nice to have - Domain experience in advertising technology, programmatic platforms, or billing and financial systems. - Familiarity with GraphQL APIs, React, Ruby on Rails, or Go in production. - Background building developer-facing APIs, documentation, or tooling.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first role open to candidates across Canada. - Base salary band of $170,400–$234,300 CAD, with potential eligibility for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a benefits package covering health coverage from day one, retirement or pension savings, paid time off including a birthday off, mental health support, and work-from-home reimbursements.
