About this role
Role overview
A subject matter expert role partnering with an online learning team to review, refresh, and expand the curriculum for a Data Analytics Bootcamp. The work blends technical content review with hands-on authoring, ensuring the program reflects current industry expectations for entry-level data analytics work. It suits a seasoned analytics practitioner who can teach, write curriculum, and integrate AI into learning experiences without sacrificing core analytical rigor.
Responsibilities
- Review content across Excel, statistics, financial analysis, visualization, reporting, SQL, Python, and advanced analytics modules for accuracy, relevance, and appropriate depth for entry-level analysts. - Recommend curriculum and content updates grounded in current analyst responsibilities, modern BI and data tools, and AI-assisted analytics practices. - Distinguish foundational skills from advanced or specialized topics and align outcomes with entry-level and early-career analyst expectations. - Develop new content where needed, including writing original lessons and producing learning aids such as videos, PDFs, and infographics, including AI-assisted ones. - Create explainers for using AI as a workflow accelerator — troubleshooting formulas, supporting step-by-step analysis, drafting summaries and chart explanations, and exploring visualization approaches. - Teach responsible AI use, including validating outputs, spotting unsupported conclusions, protecting sensitive data, and keeping human accountability in the loop. - Write or revise lessons, exercises, projects, case studies, quizzes, and assessments built around realistic business scenarios and datasets, including reporting activities that build KPI interpretation and stakeholder communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. - 7+ years of experience in data analytics or business analytics, ideally inside a large Fortune 1000 organization. - Prior experience teaching data analytics and developing explainer content or curricula for it. - Experience using generative AI to develop content such as videos, infographics, and written materials. - Strong command of SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, and visualization tools such as Tableau. - Strong understanding of statistics, financial analysis, reporting, visualization, and structured analytical problem-solving. - Hands-on familiarity with generative AI tools and their practical use in analytics workflows, including the ability to evaluate AI outputs for correctness and limitations. - Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to beginner or non-technical audiences.
Nice to have
- Responsibility for hiring early-career data analytics talent.
Benefits and work setup
