Remote FullStack Engineer – React + Django – AI Systems

Role overview Build product features across a React frontend and a Django backend for AI- and algorithm-driven systems. You’ll take work from data modeling and API design through to the user interface, collaborating with a small distributed team and iterating on feedback.

Responsibilities - Deliver complete features across the frontend and backend, connecting responsive interfaces to application services. - Build web interfaces with React and Material UI. - Design backend services and REST APIs with Python and Django, using Django REST Framework or a similar tool where appropriate. - Implement scoring, ranking, decision rules, or other algorithmic logic and make its results usable in the interface. - Write production-ready code that supports fast delivery and ongoing iteration.

Requirements - Strong working knowledge of React and Material UI, with care for layout, spacing, and usability. - Experience designing REST APIs and building backend services. - Experience implementing substantial business logic or algorithms, such as decision flows, scoring, or optimization. - Ability to reason about performance, including query behavior and when caching is useful. - Self-direction and clear communication in a remote team.

Nice to have - Familiarity with Django REST Framework, AI coding assistants, Google Cloud, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, or React Native. - Experience shipping complete products, or working with algorithms and data-heavy systems.
