About this role
Role overview The Solutions Engineer partners with clients to implement and get the most out of a data and analytics platform serving the natural and health-and-wellness retail space. The role blends technical implementation, data analysis, and customer-facing consulting, helping retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) organizations turn large product and shopper datasets into business value.
Responsibilities - Lead the technical side of client onboarding, implementation, and ongoing issue resolution across multiple accounts. - Configure application environments and data feeds to align with each customer's business goals. - Perform data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting to answer complex business questions. - Triage and resolve issues in the application and data feed, and improve the internal tools used to handle them. - Act as a senior technical partner to Customer Success and Sales, supporting renewals and expansion. - Manage several retailer and CPG relationships simultaneously, balancing time-sensitive project work.
Requirements - 3–5+ years in a client-facing technical role such as solutions engineering, data analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or customer success. - Advanced SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries, joins, aggregations, and debugging data issues. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (equivalent experience considered). - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical business audiences. - Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple complex projects. - Familiarity with the CPG and retail landscape and a motivation to deliver insights to customers.
Nice to have - Experience with Tableau, Snowflake, or other BI/visualization tools. - Prior remote or hybrid work experience.
