Remote job
Senior Full-stack Engineer
Job details
About this role
Role overview A senior full-stack builder role on a small, fast-moving team building a system of record for conversation data that turns meetings into centralized intelligence for teams and AI agents. The work spans retrieval over hundreds of meetings per user, scaling early prototypes, enterprise deployment on Kubernetes with single-tenant and self-hosted paths ahead, and stitching together an end-to-end agent-driven software workflow with the right guardrails and checks.
Responsibilities - Take fuzzy problems from spec to production, talking to customers, defining UX, building, shipping, and closing the loop. - Operate as product manager, designer, and engineer in one, with real influence over what gets built. - Ship changes through AI coding agents as the default workflow and own the resulting code, reading every diff. - Work on retrieval problems including chunking, embeddings, and getting the right context to the model at the right moment. - Decide where to invest in scaling as early prototypes start to break. - Contribute to enterprise deployment work on Kubernetes, including single-tenant and self-hosted paths. - Build the guardrails, tests, and tooling that let an agent eventually build, review, deploy, and monitor changes on its own.
Requirements - High-agency builder who ships production software without hand-holding. - Several years of production software experience across the stack: React, Node, AWS, and a database that has had to be scaled. - Strong product taste, including using what you build before shipping and fixing what feels wrong. - Clear written communication and comfort working asynchronously. - Willingness to raise blockers early and bring options. - Defensible opinions about tools and craft without digging in. - Comfort deploying many times a day in a remote-first setup with quarterly in-person meetups and more face time during onboarding.
Nice to have - Early-stage startup experience. - Passion for scaling systems and developer experience. - MongoDB or Kubernetes experience. - Having shipped AI features into a product, not only used AI to build them.
Benefits and work setup - Competitive salary, meaningful equity, health coverage, and flexible PTO. - Remote-first with the whole team meeting in person at least once per quarter.
