About this role
Role overview A remote manual QA engineering role supporting an AI voice agent product that ships in more than 71 languages with sub-second latency. The position focuses on functional web testing, defect documentation, and partnering with engineering, product, and customer support to maintain release quality.
Responsibilities - Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases covering core user flows and edge cases - Perform hands-on testing across browsers and devices for new features, fixes, and releases - Identify, reproduce, isolate, and document defects with clear steps, expected versus actual results, and supporting evidence - Maintain QA documentation including test cases, regression suites, test reports, and release validation summaries - Partner with product, engineering, and customer support to triage and prioritise issues based on user impact - Participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives - Run regression testing and release validation prior to each launch - Continuously improve manual QA processes, test coverage, and cross-team communication
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience - At least 3 years of manual QA experience with a strong focus on web applications - Solid grasp of QA fundamentals including test planning, case design, regression, exploratory testing, and bug reporting - Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional engineering and product teams - Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to isolate root causes - Clear written communication for documenting defects and test results - Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Linear, or similar - Comfort using browser developer tools for debugging and reproduction
Nice to have - Accessibility testing experience and familiarity with WCAG guidelines - Familiarity with text-to-speech or audio-based products - Exposure to test automation tooling - API validation using tools like Postman
