About this role
Role overview Join a quality engineering team supporting federal government clients, designing and executing testing frameworks that ensure software products meet functional, integration, performance, and security requirements. The role blends hands-on automation, Agile collaboration, and DevOps integration to deliver continuous testing across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities - Develop testing frameworks, processes, and approaches, and design, build, and execute test plans and test cases against functional and non-functional requirements. - Maintain test artifacts including test data and verification evidence, and execute functional, integration, performance, and regression test cases. - Identify, document, and track defects to closure, while configuring and maintaining test suites aligned with continuous-testing and DevOps practices. - Analyze requirements and technical design documents, perform impact analysis, and prepare reports for customers and senior management on testing activities. - Coordinate with the Scrum team to analyze and resolve problems, and collaborate with developers and DevOps to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field and 5 years of experience establishing comprehensive test practices and methodologies. - Strong understanding of software development and testing principles, with hands-on experience using Jira, Confluence, and TestRail. - Hands-on experience with API and automation tooling such as Protractor, Postman, Selenium, TestNG, JMeter, PactumJS, or Playwright. - Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests using tools such as Jenkins. - Experience within Agile/Scrum environments with strong debugging skills and the ability to perform end-to-end testing. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and have lived in the United States 3 of the past 5 years.
Nice to have - Federal project experience, preferably with CMS. - Familiarity with databases and SQL for testing data-driven applications.
