Full-Stack Engineer

Role overview Build learner-facing products and internal tools across mobile and web, taking features from early ideas through release and learning from how people use them. The work covers app experiences, web flows, backend services, and integrations with speech scoring.

Responsibilities - Develop iOS and Android apps using React Native and Expo. - Build and improve web experiences, including assessments, quizzes, and checkout flows. - Create backend APIs and data models using Node, TypeScript, and a database. - Connect product features to speech-scoring services. - Build internal administration and content tools for creating lessons and monitoring product activity. - Refine user flows such as audio recording and score presentation.

Requirements - Three or more years building and shipping React or React Native applications used by real customers. - Backend experience with Node, TypeScript, and either a document or relational database. - Experience taking responsibility for outcomes on a small team. - Clear written English for collaboration in a remote environment. - Practical judgment about using AI-assisted coding tools in daily development.

Nice to have - Experience releasing an Expo app to both major mobile app stores. - Work with subscriptions, paywalls, or in-app purchases. - Mobile audio experience, including recording, playback, or latency. - Personal experience learning English as an additional language.
